About Dr. Cory Meyers

Cory Meyers, DVM has been practicing at Mid-Maryland Dairy Veterinarians since graduating from the Virginia – Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2002. Practice consulting interests include dairy farm management and transition cows. The only Yankee of the practice, Dr. Meyers grew up on the family dairy farm, Meyers Brothers Dairy, in St. Thomas, Pennsylvania. Drs Burrows and Horst from the Mercersburg Veterinary Clinic were the herd veterinarians during those transformative years creating that spark to pursue veterinary medicine. Dr. Meyers graduated with a Dairy and Animal Science degree from Penn State and still bleeds blue and white. You will find Dr. Meyers behind the scenes and slowly integrating into more small animal medicine.

Cory and his wife Annisa have 4 children, daughters Sasha, Clara, and Tessa and son Dixon. In addition to the humans, the Meyers' have 2 Chiweenies (Jasmine and Perdita) and 3 cats (Rey, Jeremiah, and Luna). He was a board member for the Pennsylvania Center for Dairy Excellence. Cory is a high energy youth soccer coach and plays a mean drum-set.
