Emergencies
Mercersburg Veterinary Clinic is a full-service veterinary practice open Monday through Friday and some Saturdays for daytime hours. We do not provide afterhours emergency service in the clinic. However, if you are a current client with an urgent concern about your pet's health or need guidance on seeking emergency care, you may call the office (717-328-5171) and leave a message in the urgent care mailbox. A medical team member will return your call as soon as possible. Messages left after 10pm will be returned the next day. FOR IMMEDIATE AND EMERGENCY CARE please contact one of the area emergency centers directly: Mountain View Animal Emergency in Hagerstown, MD at 301.733.7339; CARE Veterinary Center, Frederick, MD at 301.662.2273; Vet Urgency in Frederick, MD at 301.288.8387; Shores Veterinary Emergency in Harrisburg, PA at 717.798.8500; or Rossmoyne Animal Emergency Trauma Center, Mechanicsburg, PA at 717.796.2334.
