About Dr Tia Pawlus

Dr. Tierra "Tia" Pawlus grew up in Hedgesville, West Virginia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Veterinary Technology from Wilson College in 2006, worked as a licensed veterinary technician, and later received her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. After beginning her career in small animal medicine in Arcola, Illinois, she relocated to the Chambersburg area in 2019 with her husband and two sons, Colbie and Braylen, to be closer to family.

Dr. Pawlus enjoys traveling with her family and supporting Colbie’s goal of visiting every baseball stadium in the country. In addition to her professional pursuits, she likes spending time with her family, actively supports Colbie's athletic endeavors, attending baseball games and concerts, scrapbooking, reading, and spending time with her pets at home.
